When making low calorific value of steam coal, it is necessary to input the sulfur content of the analytical base to obtain accurate results. 1 Air tightness: it is a necessary condition for the use of the sulfur meter to ensure tight air tightness. In particular, the tightness of the whole gas circuit must be guaranteed during recalibration. If the calibration is carried out under the condition of gas leakage, one is that the calibration coefficient of the sulfur analyzer is low or deviated, resulting in inaccurate results of all subsequent tests, which directly affects the product quality of the enterprise. Second, the calibration test results have a large deviation, resulting in inaccurate coefficient of the sulfur analyzer.
2. Check the mixing speed: try to increase the rotating speed without losing step to ensure that the SO2 entering the electrolytic cell is fully titrated. After adjusting the mixing speed, try not to adjust it again in the future to ensure that the mixing speed is the same each time when starting the experiment. Because the stirring speed directly affects the measuring accuracy of the sulfur analyzer. It generally affects the percentile of the result.
3 Check and clean the electrode plate of the electrolytic cell: because the result of the sulfur analyzer is unstable or low, it is often caused by the pollution of the electrode plate. Before calibration, check the brightness of the electrode. If it is very bright, it means that it is clean and does not need to be cleaned. If it is light yellow or black, it must be scraped with a small blade (or wiped with alcohol) and check whether the communication signal line is fully connected. If the calibration is carried out under the condition that the electrode is polluted, the calibration must be inaccurate, which is futile.
4 Try to replace the new electrolyte: because calibration is to change the system parameters. Do not cause the result of sulfur analyzer to be unstable due to electrolyte failure. If possible, replace the electrolyte regularly. It is beneficial and harmless.
5 Calibration balance: because the sample weight of the sulfur analyzer is very small, only 50 mg, if there is little error in weighing, the calibration will fail.
6 Moisture content of standard coal sample: because the content of standard coal sample is dry basis, the analytical water of standard coal sample must be prepared in advance to obtain the sulfur content of dry basis. Then calibrate the sulfur analyzer according to the dry basis value.
