[Detailed description]
Hastelloy grindability index tester is an instrument specially designed for measuring the grindability of bituminous coal and anthracite. The measuring principle of the Hastelloy apparatus is based on the grinding law (that is, the energy consumed by grinding pulverized coal is proportional to the new surface area produced by pulverized coal), and under the conditions specified in GB2565 Method for the Determination of Grindability Index of Coal (Hadgrove Method), the prepared coal sample is grinded, screened and weighed, and the Hastelloy grindability index is found from the calibration chart drawn by the standard coal sample. The larger the index, the easier it is to grind. The measurement results of the instrument can correctly reflect the difficulty of coal grinding, and provide a basis for the design and operation of the coal mill. It is widely used in coal, electric power, metallurgy, chemical and other industries.
