HD-CG800 microcomputer-based automatic mercury analyzer is mainly used for the determination of mercury content in coal. Samples need to be chemically extracted, digested and absorbed into water solution for determination.
Measuring principle:
Based on the fact that elemental mercury can be volatilized into mercury vapor at room temperature without heating, and has strong absorption effect on ultraviolet light with wavelength of 253.7 nm. Within a certain range, the concentration of mercury is proportional to the absorption value, which conforms to Beer's law. Applying the principle of cold atomic absorption and Lambert Beer's law, add oxidized water sample into the bubble flask, insert the tube core, and add stannous chloride at the upper entrance of the tube core to reduce the mercury ion in the water sample to elemental mercury. The air pump uses carrier gas (such as air, etc.) to bring the mercury vapor that escapes from the reaction of stannous chloride and water sample in the bubble flask into the colorimetric cell, and the receiver receives the optical signal to determine the concentration of mercury vapor according to the change of light intensity. It conforms to the national standard GB/T16659-2008 Determination of Mercury in Coal.
Main features:
● The instrument has high sensitivity, wide measuring range and good reproducibility.
● There are few types and quantities of chemical reagents used; Use fewer appliances and devices; Do not use inert gas.
● The specially made bubble flasks are very simple, and there is no mercury loss in the operation.
● The unique circuit design makes the instrument have high stability and sensitivity, and the baseline has almost no drift.
● The measurement range is wide, and the sample with concentration of 0.01-100 μ g/L can be continuously measured under the same state.
● It is easy to operate, the computer prompts the whole operation process, and intelligent data processing greatly reduces the workload of laboratory personnel.
